JW Marriott Bonnet Creek

For this project, Howe CxA was the acting Special Inspector, performed multiple site walks during construction, and assisted in scheduling construction completion, pretesting, and final system functional testing. We performed oversight on the smoke control and stair pressure systems test and balance, and performed the functional testing required to certify the life safety systems.

The JW Marriott Bonnet Creek is located on the Bonnet Creek Resort complex, nestled on the edge of the Walt Disney World Resort complex in Orlando, FL. It is a new construction, residential high-rise hotel designed by Morris Architects. Jensen Hughes designed the life safety systems and it was built by PCL Construction. The 16-floor hotel is comprised of a multi-level parking garage, 516 rooms, 18 meeting rooms, multiple dining areas, gym, putt-putt golf course, and a 9,920 SF spa.
