Universal Endless Summer Resort : Dockside Inn & Suites


Howe CxA played a dual role on this project, as the life safety special inspector and commissioning agent for all HVAC systems and building automation system controls. Howe CxA played a key role in scheduling of the building completion and testing activities, and was an integral part of making sure that this facility was turned over on time and ready for opening.

Universal Dockside Inn & Suites is owned and operated by Loews Hotel and designed by BRPH Architects and Finfrock Designand, and is part of the Universal owned Hotels for Universal Studios Orlando Theme Parks. The Hotel was constructed under Finfrock Construction and Hoar Construction, and completed in March 2020. As a 14-story high-rise that primarily consists of residential (hotel) occupancies, it houses 2000+ guest rooms including over 1,000 suites, a food court, lobby bar, fitness rooms and two large pools and splash pad. This also  includes storage (parking), dining facilities and multiple areas for gathering and socializing.
